Best Cherry Cheesecake Recipe

Easy and Quick to prepare

that is less challenging try Best Cherry Cheesecake.

It was sent to me by one of my readers.

Luscious Fruity Cheesecake

Crust
  • 1½ cups (375 ml) Chocolate or graham wafer crumbs
  • ¼ cup (60 ml)brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup (85 ml) butter or margarine, melted
Fillling:
  • 1 8 oz. (225 g) cream cheese
  • 1 can Eaglebrand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup (85 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 cup (250 ml) whipping cream, whipped


Preheat oven to 357º F/190º C.
In small bowl, blend together crumbs, sugar, and butter.
Press crumb mixture onto sides and bottom of a 9" spring-form or square pan.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Beat in sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice.
In a separate bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture until well blended.
Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until set.
Top with Cherry pie filling, or filling of your choice.
OR you may decorate with fresh fruit and a dollop of whipped cream
Makes 8 to 10 servings
