Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

A Christmas Cookie Recipe from OOdles of Recipes





Chocolate Chip Cookies

¾ cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup chocolate chipits

Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix by hand.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chipits.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350ºF. for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool slightly before removing from pan.




Easy-Mix Chocolate Drop Cookies

1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
1 egg
6 tbsp cocoa
½ cup milk
1½ tsp pure vanilla
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
dash of salt
2/3 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350º F.
In a large bowl or electric mixer combine all the ingredients except for the nuts.
Beat at medium speed for 4 to 5 minutes.
Stir in the nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes approximately 3 to 4 dozen
